This year, Liza Jane Grey celebrates her seventh year as resident Theatre Cat. (So that means she is now 10 or 11 but don’t let on!) Now that the new Gordon Kearney wing is open and fully operational, Liza is pleased to report that her domain has more than doubled in size and she must be the luckiest cat on the planet. She did suffer a little “bump” this year when Nigel, a very handsome stray ginger cat, arrived at the Theatre. After staying for a few months, Nigel moved to Wythe Parkway, much to Liza’s and his great satisfaction and joy. Liza is very proud of her role as assistant to every member of staff. She can generally be found lounging in either one of the lobbies or seated in her very own place at staff and committee meetings.
