Welcome to the new Hampton Arts website! We hope you enjoy the updated look and the new features we have implemented. Updates regarding events at The American Theatre and the Charles H. Taylor Arts Center can be found below.

New Movie Matinees -The American Theatre's movie matinee series kicks off 2012 with Turk Pipkin's film One Peace at a Time. This powerful documentary focuses on solutions that work and how we as individuals can make a difference in providing basic human rights to children all over the world. New classes starting at The American Theatre! The American Theatre will host some exciting new classes starting at the end of January. New dance classes in a variety of swing and ballroom styles will be starting up, as will acting and our popular yoga therapy course. Click here for a full listing of upcoming classes.

Yoga Therapy class notice: Dr. Dilip Sarkar's Yoga Therapy classes have resumed at The American Theatre. Classes take place every Wednesday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Please call the box office at 757-722-2787 if you need additional information. There will be no class on Wednesday February 8th. Click here for more information.
Arts Center Exhibition: The Hampton Arts League Open Members Exhibition opens at The Charles H. Taylor Arts Center this Saturday January 28th. The show runs through February 26th and features the work of over 200 Hampton Roads artists.
